Graduate Christian Brothers College (CBC) Military Institute, Clayton, MO. – 1972 (1st Black to reach the rank of Lt. Col)

Graduate USNA, Annapolis, MD. – 1976 (First African American Color Company Commander in the history of the United States Naval Academy)

Earned Bachelor of Science in Mathematics - June 1976 - United States Naval Academy

Commissioned 2nd Lt – USMC – June 1976

Honor Graduate – The Basic School Quantico Virginia -1977

Staff Platoon Commander Midshipman Company (First African American-1977)

Honor Graduate – Fort Sill Oklahoma Artillery School -1979 (0802)
